Wood from a burn pile

I got several pickup loads of wood from the burn pile from the place down the road.  I got the wood in time as they were planning on burning their pile in the next few weeks before the open burn season is over for the Spring.

Why do I need the wood?   I plan to burn a few tree stumps this year to have less to drag the harrow around.

I have dug around one of the stumps and am working on the second stump.
