Curious Baby

Sometimes Baby reminds me of a fictional little monkey.  Monday morning, while he and Momma were near the water trough and the patio, Baby slipped through the patio fence.

Momma didn't notice at first but when she did she went to the fence and called for him to return.  He was busy checking stuff out and didn't return right away but eventually he slipped back through the fence.  I replaced the missing board to prevent him from getting through this fence again.

Tuesday night he again checked the patio fence out but couldn't find a spot to slip through.  Later he walked along the front yard fence looking for a way into the yard.  He seemed fascinated by my red windmill. Fortunately he can't get through this fence.

Tuesday morning Momma and baby were also at the fence by the road when Tammy drove to work.  She stopped and told  Momma to move Baby away from the fence.  When I got up Momma and Baby were along the hayfield/pasture fence and stayed there all day.  After sunset Momma and Baby were again along the fence by the road.  The neighbor's cattle were along the fence on their side of the road and Momma wanted to be near them.  As of last report Baby is behaving and staying in the hayfield.

Momma wants more apples.

I had trimmed some box elder tree branches and gave the branches for Momma to eat their leaves.

Baby sees Momma do something so he has to try doing the same.

Baby and the tree branch.  1 minute 30 seconds.
