Calf 5, the next morning

This morning, since mother and baby were doing well, I let them out of the corral to rejoin the other cows.  The little calf looked quite cute.

I opened the gate and let them out.  Buddy was waiting on the other side of the gate.

Daughter, meet father.

Mom took the calf to the far end of the pasture to introduce her calf to the other cows.


Here is a 47 second video of the cattle in the corral late this afternoon.  The first calf (5) seen in the video was born less than 24 hours ago.  The white faced calf seen later in the video is a week old.
