If you remember back to the big windstorm of June of 2012, I ended up with a number of logs and branches from the neighbor's trees that blew down and were cut down. This past Spring I cut up all the branches. Now that I got gas and oil and was able to make a gas mixture for my chainsaw I fired it up a few days ago and cut the pile of logs sitting in my backyard.
The pile of wood to be cut is circled in red. The branches I had cut this past Spring is circled in blue.
I stacked most of the cut logs on two pallets.
Daisy inspected my work.
Now to get to work splitting the logs as I am behind schedule. This cold weather is letting us know that Winter is coming.
