Stump 4 removal

I burnt stump 4 in a bonfire one evening to remove it from the middle pasture.  This was an old stump I had planned to keep for the cattle to rub against.  Well the cattle did. A little too much. They ended up breaking the stump off above ground last year.  As you can see the stump below ground was still hard.



As you can see from the dirt pile, I dug out more of the stump than I planned.













See the red circle in the upper left of the photo?  That is where the fire is following a side root down into the ground.
