Wet and muddy

Last month I, and many others, were wishing for rain as it was pretty dry.  You know the saying "Be careful what you wish for"?  Yup.  That's right.

It had been wet from rain the past few weeks but the heavy rain that started last night continued all night and into this afternoon.

Here is the view when I went out to check on the cattle.

My soil is sandy loam so the water disappears right away.  To see standing water means it is raining long and hard.

The corral is pretty muddy.
