Moose on the loose

I also found the snow in the photo interesting. Apparently it has been snowing there and they have plenty of snow. The mountain snow pack is in good shape so far this year. December's mountain precipitation was 123% of average.

Friends of mine live in this part of the Valley, which gets more snow than my part of the Valley. They told me they have had 31" of snow so far this January and 90+ inches this Winter. I am happy I don't have to shovel all that snow, but I am missing out on some great cross-country skiing.
