Adventures with cattle

I filled one of the water troughs and placed it in the hayfield near the corral.  Kyle will come over in the next few days to look at the pump for the water troughs to see what needs to be done to get it working.

The cattle and horses seem to be getting along, though the cattle are more curious and bold and the horses are fine with the cattle as long as they don't get too close.   The horses were close to the chain link fence until the cattle walked up to it.

One of Dan's cattle decided to push my smallest skunk back heifer.  To my surprise my heifer wouldn't let herself be bullied and began pushing back.  She pushed Dan's steer around the pasture until he got the message to leave her alone.  You go, girl!
