First pocket gopher of the year

Today I trapped my first pocket gopher of the year.  I was harrowing the hayfield yesterday when I noticed a few fresh dirt mounds.  I set a trap at noon today and by late afternoon I caught the big fat pocket gopher.   Today I saw a fresh dirt mound in the south pasture so I moved the trap over there after I caught the first pocket gopher.  I'll see if I catch another pocket gopher tomorrow.
