Curve sign on the road

I see today that the road department finally put up a sign on my road indicating the curve.  My neighbors, who live on the curve, were unhappy at all the people going off the road and wrecking their fence.  Months ago they asked the road department to put up a sign to indicate the curve.  Finally it was done.  A sign was put up on each side of the curve.  It almost looks like the road department had an artist make a symbol that matches the shape of the curve.

And the speed limit on the curve was lowered from 35 mph to 25 mph.  Like that will make any difference.  Most people drive faster, often much faster, than 35 mph.
