Two calves meet

This morning I let Red and her calf out from their small area under the barn's roof and into the larger corral area south of the barn.  Red wanted to eat hay right away and her calf wanted to check out the corral area.  Red was worried and constantly had to quit eating hay, moo at her calf, and go over to get her calf to come back and stand next to her as she ate hay.  Over and over.  By afternoon she was a little calmer and her calf didn't have to stand right next to her.
