They also asked permission to cut down part of a split tree where one part leaned towards the power lines. This is what used to lean towards the power lines.
This is the third part of the tree, a part that was dying. (See the second photo above for the remaining bottom half still standing). The part that leaned towards the power lines was cut in phases and the resulting log sections didn't make an interesting photo.
I had them dump the second load of wood chips in a large low area that used to be a large tree stump before I burned it years ago.
