Hitting a deer

Tammy had a Tastefully Simple party in the Yaak valley of NW Montana on Friday afternoon/evening.  It was a two and a half hour drive back home and got dark.  We were driving on the highway when a deer suddenly hopped over the highway guardrail and ran across the highway.  I braked to stop, but since we were going highway speed I couldn't stop in time.  Still, we almost missed the deer as it hit the front driver's side of the minivan.

We were able to drive the rest of the way home.

Come morning and daylight we will see what further damage there is to the vehicle.
