June sunset

Tonight's sunset. I almost missed it as I was looking down at pocket gopher traps.

The cheap little digital camera I have does ok, but it didn't quite catch the colors.

Time for bed as I need to get up at an insanely early hour to meet the group by 8 am for Friday's hike on the east side of the mountains. And here I haven't finished writing about last Friday's hike to Elk Mountain.
